Join Julia, Iyengar Yoga Instructor, & Dr. Hudson, Board Certified Acupuncture Physician, for a gentle AcuYoga session combining poses and acupoints focused on helping the body regulate hormone levels through its stimulation of the nervous system. Combining acupuncture with yoga poses that regulate hormone releasing glands gives a synergistic effect. This helps the body adapt naturally to mental and physical changes associated with menopause.
The evening will offer a gentle and supportive practice specifically geared towards alleviating the symptoms of menopause. This class will also include breathing techniques and mindful meditation exercises to help manage the main symptoms.
